In the red tent, the truth is known.” — Anita Diament

There is healing and empowerment that comes from learning about our bodies together in community. Our health, our sexual lives improve with intergenerational wisdom and sharing. And Judaism has lots to say about women’s bodies.

We are gathering the SVIVAH audience for a multigenerational conversation about Jewish women*s bodies where we can bring women* of different generations in conversation with one another, normalizing our experiences and modeling what it looks like to live, learn, and grow in community with one another.

Let’s revisit the Red Tent for a minute – and see what wisdom comes.

We will hear from our expert speakers about women’s lifelong health journey, and what we can expect our sex lives to look like in the coming years. We’ll talk about what Judaism has to say about women’s bodies – and how that could impact our self-views. This conversation won’t be able to cover it all, but this reclaiming and rebuilding of a “Red Tent” — community built around our experience of our bodies and health journeys as women — will be a magnificent start at benefitting each one of us.

Join us on Tuesday 5/31 @ 8-9:30pm EST

in conversation with Dr. Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz, Sarah Barak, Rabbi Sara Luria, Elizabeth Ross, and all of you.

We have so much to learn from each other.

As always, our learning is incomplete without what you uniquely bring to the table. We want to be together with you. Tell a friend or family member to join in -- we would love to meet her, too!

Come when you can; stay till you can’t.

SVIVAH is dependent on the generosity of those who choose to invest in a powerful community of women. As always, cost should never be a barrier to anything SVIVAH, but if you can, please help us show respect to our speakers/facilitators for their time and expertise. www.svivah.org/donate

*SVIVAH defines "Jewish woman" as anyone wishing to be included in a circle of Jewish women. If you want to be here, we want you to be here.
