Speaking About Dinah: Addressing Sexual Harm In Our Communities

We are grateful to partner with Gluya for this important conversation

This coming Shabbat, synagogues everywhere will read the biblical story of the assault of Dinah.

It is both an opportunity and an imperative to address this challenging text with compassion and care. We have long known the critical role that community plays in the healing process of survivors of sexual harm and we work hard to create a space of safety and care for the survivors in our SVIVAH community.

This Wednesday, December 3rd at 1:30pm ET, four of our educators will be convening community leaders to better understand the important role community plays in the experience of survivors.

We are grateful to Rabbanit Sarah Segal-Katz, founder of Gluya, Judy Klitsner, Dr. Guila Benchimol, and Rabbanit Aliza Sperling for their commitment to and support of survivors in our communities.

Please join if you hold a leadership role in community or to offer guidance to your community leadership in creating space for these essential communal conversations.
