HerTorah: From Resolutions to Reality: Implementing Change After the High Holidays

  • ZOOM RSVP for Zoom Link (map)

Are you feeling like you are leading your life the same way you did before you made all your High Holidays resolutions? Or are you starting to make changes, and want to make sure that they last?

Please join us at a special Sukkot HerTorah with Maya Bernstein as our very own “ushpizah” (Sukkot guest) this Saturday night at 9 PM EST

Maya is a writer, musician, leadership coach, and Torah teacher who believes in the power of individuals and groups to adapt and to creatively respond to challenges and opportunities they face in their work and lives. Maya is going to guide us through a deep look at personal goal setting and overcoming obstacles to change.

We are so excited to have Maya in our collective sukkah and so grateful to her for joining us. (If you want to get a sense of what an amazing human being Maya is, read her Yom Kippur reflection in Tablet magazine here.)

HerTorah: From Resolutions to Reality: Implementing Change After the High Holidays

Did you make important resolutions over Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, but now find yourself reverting back to the way you were before? Using the methodology “Immunity to Change” developed by Bob Kegan and Lisa Lahey, we will discover how to avoid common roadblocks and put into practice the changes we desire in our lives.

Join us Saturday evening 9/25 @ 9-10PM EST.

As always, the conversation won't be complete without you at our table. We want to be together with you. Tell a friend or family member to join in -- we would love to meet her, too!

HerTorah gathers together a diverse community of Jewish women to connect over our shared heritage, explore our collective wisdom, and elevate our communal experience in learning with and from one another.

HerTorah is directed by Rabbanit Aliza Sperling, made possible in part by funds granted by the Covenant Foundation & the Aviv Foundation, presented in partnership with Maharat, and inspired by each one of us.

This gathering welcomes women* 12+ and learners of all backgrounds.

SVIVAH is dependent on the generosity of those who choose to invest in a powerful community of women. As always, cost should never be a barrier to anything SVIVAH, but if you can, please help us show respect to our speakers/facilitators for their time and expertise. www.svivah.org/donate

Questions about ZOOM or about this gathering? Email connect@svivah.org

*SVIVAH defines "Jewish woman" as anyone wishing to be included in a circle of Jewish women. If you want to be here, we want you to be here.
